Ina's Garden...Peanut Butter & Jelly Bars

On April 28, Ina’s Garden members posted Orange Pound Cake to introduce our group to you. Today is our official inaugural post, and what a delicious way to officially launch our group. These Peanut Butter & Jelly bars are seriously addictive, getting better over the course of the day. How? Magic, perhaps – I don’t really know. What I do know is that my staff loved them, as did I.
I used raspberry jam as specified in the recipe, along with creamy peanut butter, but I’ve no doubt the bars would be scrumptious with any jam. Typically, I eat crunchy peanut butter and strawberry jam on a PB&J sandwich, so my plans are to use both the next time I make these, because I will definitely make them again. Rich and gooey, they are perfect for breakfast, lunchbox, or dessert. Find the recipe on Yummy Chunklet’s site, and please link up your delicious bars below, as well – I can’t wait to find out what you thought! Definitely make an effort to visit the other members of Ina’s Garden, along with your fellow participants.  We do ask that as a courtesy, you link back in your post to whichever host site you have linked to. It’s good blog hop etiquette, and it allows others to find one of the main Ina’s Garden posts and join in the fun.  A simple, "Linked to Ina’s Garden at insert the name of whichever blog you have linked to, along with a link to their Ina’s Garden post here" is absolutely fine.

On May 19, our theme is Pasta with Pizazz! Make any Ina Garten pasta recipe and share your experience with us. I have my eye on the Roasted Shrimp and Orzo…mmmmmm.

  1. I love that you use the word addictive to describe these yummy PB&J bars - I did too! They really, truly are! Normally I'm pretty good about just tasting one, but these I kept coming back to. I love your photographs, they are wonderful - absolutely mouthwatering in fact!

  8. I think, when I came to see your peanut butter and jelly bars, I got off track at your Chicken with Cherry Sauce and never got here to see the most beautiful, luscious bars. This was a good recipe.

I am off to blog the chicken recipe. It was terrific. Everyone liked it and I would certainly make it again. Thanks so much for sharing it.

  9. The bars rock! I wish I had one now for breakfast! So much better than the PB on toast I'm having.
