Louanne, I also love those fritters from Whole Foods. I'm going to try your recipe today! Any ideas for a dipping sauce? Would like to serve these at a baby shower.
ReplyDeleteHi Lexie,
ReplyDeleteI love a creamy-style dip on the side when I steam artichokes, so I think a creamy lemon-garlic dip would be really good with the fritters. I've made the following dip before, and it's really delicious
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
1-2 tablespoons chives, finely minced
Juice of 1/2 lemon (you can use more, but taste it first)
1 clove garlic, grated
1/2 teaspoon salt
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and chill for at least 4 hours, sprinkle on additional chives as a garnish.
These sound perfect! Love the dip you posted below too, thanks!
ReplyDeleteOh my! These looks so crispy and amazing. Feta is one of my favorite cheeses. I could put it on anything :) Great recipe for a fun appetizer!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Debbi!
ReplyDeleteBest, Louanne
