Strawberry Bread with Nutella Cream Cheese Swirl and Nutella Buttery Glaze

There's nothing like a little friendly competition to light a fire under one's bum, and when I saw that Reeni of Cinnamon Spice & Everything Nice had teamed up with Christine of The Cupcake Bandits to create Dessert Wars, I was quite excited.  When I saw the January ingredient, I was very, very excited - Nutella!
How I love thee, Nutella.
I love you on a spoon, you send me over the moon.
I adore you on toast, you truly are the most.
On a cracker, in my coffee, and in a cake
Oh my knees, how they quiver & quake.
Nutella, Nutella, I love you, it's true
Nothing tastes as good as you!

I went through various recipes in my head, finally deciding upon today's subject.  I've always loved the flavor combination of strawberries and chocolate, and I figured Nutella and cream cheese swirled into my strawberry bread would be a winner.  I'm delighted to say, that yes, it's a delicious, moist and quick bread, equally perfect with your morning cup of coffee, as an afternoon snack with tea, or served after dinner as dessert.  I used a Bundt pan rather than a loaf pan, as I was short on time.  I've give the time for both, so use whichever you prefer.
If you have a Nutella recipe, be sure to enter January's Dessert Wars - there are awesome prizes!

Strawberry Bread with Nutella Cream Cheese Swirl and Nutella Buttery Glaze Printable recipe
1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 stick unsalted butter, melted and cooled
1 1/4 cup mashed fresh strawberries
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 large egg
1/4 cup water

Swirl
1/2 cup Nutella
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1 large egg

Glaze
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
3 tablespoons milk
2-3 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup Nutella

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Butter and flour a 9x5 loaf pan or Bundt pan; set aside.
Mix swirl ingredients together and set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together; set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together sugar, melted & cooled butter, mashed strawberries, and cinnamon.
Beat in egg and water.
Stir in flour mixture.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan, then dollop the swirl mixture onto batter, swirling into the batter with a butter knife.
Pour remaining batter onto swirled mixture.
Bake Bundt cake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Bake loaf pan for 60-65 minutes.
Allow to cool in pan for 15 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
Once cooled, pour on glaze; allow glaze to set before serving.

To make the glaze, heat butter and milk together until butter melts.
Whisk in Nutella and 2 cups of powdered sugar, stirring until there are no lumps.
If necessary, add more powdered sugar if you like a thicker glaze or more milk if you prefer a thinner glaze.
Pour onto cooled bread.
